Title:
METHOD FOR IMPROVING ARTICULATION OF VOICE MESSAGE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3527401
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reproduce a calling part of numeral information at a speed slower than a speed of a remaining part of a voice message automatically by deciding a relative position of the numeral information in the message when calling of the numeral information is included in the voice message.
SOLUTION: A message system 130 analyzes a voice message to seek a calling part of numeral information. The system 130 decides especially whether or not calling of numerals, e.g. enumeration is in existence in the message, and decides a relative position of the calling position of the numeral, if any. A digital message signal and its ancillary position string are compressed by processing the entire message and the result is stored at a proper place (mail box) in a storage device 135. Then a voice sample corresponding to '1' of the position bit string is reproduced at a slower speed than a speed of a voice sample corresponding to '0' via a voice unit 132.
