Abstract:
To provide a method for improving the hematopoietic function of a horse, capable of preventing or improving the anemia of the horse, and a hematopoietic function-improving agent of the horse, capable of suitably being used for the method.
This method for improving the hematopoietic function of the horse is provided by administering lactoferrin to the horse. The hematopoietic function-improving agent for the horse comprises the lactoferrin as an active ingredient.
