Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To eliminate a problem causing variation of total purge amount due to a deterioration of a hydrogen storage alloy and a change of a storage temp., etc.
SOLUTION: In a stage in which a gaseous hydrogen from a hydrogen using device 1 is occluded to the hydrogen storage alloy in a hydrogen recovering vessel 20, when a gas pressure in the hydrogen recovering vessel 20 is allowed to increase and rise above a set pressure of the pressure control valve 18 as the state approaches to a satd, state of the hydrogen storage alloy, a pressure control valve 18 is opened. and the gaseous hydrogen containing much gaseous impurity in the hydrogen recovering vessel 20 flows into a gas tank 2 till the pressure of the gas tank 2 reaches a prescribed pressure and is stored. Thereafter, when a high purity gaseous hydrogen discharged from the hydrogen storage alloy of the hydrogen recovering vessel 20 is returned to the hydrogen using device 1, the gaseous hydrogen stored in the gas tank 2 and containing much gaseous imprity is purged outside.
