Abstract:
To provide a method of improving the operation of a diesel fuel combustion system.
The method of improving the operation of a diesel fuel combustion system in a combustion system includes supplying fuel containing an additive containing manganese compound to the diesel fuel combustion system. The fuel is burnt in a combustion chamber, thereby generating at least one kind of by-product containing the manganese compound. The manganese compound is supplied by an amount enough effective to generate a composite in cooperation with the combustion by-product. By enhancing the attribute of lubrication oil receiving a load by soot particles which are the combustion by-product, the operation of the diesel fuel combustion system is improved.
