PURPOSE: To improve the stability and lubrication property of an emulsion-type lubrication oil for metal working, and to regenerate the degraded lubrication oil, by irradiating the oil with ultrasonic radiation of a specific frequency range, thereby dividing the coagulated coarse emulsion particles to fine particles.
CONSTITUTION: The emulsion-type lubrication oil W for metal working is supplied from the lubrication oil tank 1 through the lubricating work region 3 to the ultrasonic treatment tank 2, in which the oil is irradiated with ultrasonic radiation of 15W100kHz generated by the ultrasonic vibrator 4 and transmitted through the main body of the homogenizer 5, the vibrator 6 and the horn 7. The coagulated coarse particle is divided into fine particles by this process to stabilize the lubrication oil W and improve the lubrication property of the oil.
