Abstract:
To specifically exclude an allergen.
A method for inactivating the allergen comprises keeping the allergen under conditions in which a protease and a modifying agent exist. An air-conditioning machine for carrying out the method for inactivating the allergen is equipped with an allergen-inactivating part composed of a filter for inactivating the allergen. The filter 1 is equipped with a first support 2 having mesh not larger than a diameter of a water-absorbing polymer 3, a second support 4 arranged on one side of the first support 2 and a water-absorbing polymer layer 5 arranged between the first support and the second support. The water-absorbing polymer 3 contains, preferably, the protease and the modifying agent.
