Abstract:
To provide a method and a hydraulic nut for easily and accurately assembling a hollow member with a conical hole on a shaft.
A method for assembling a hollow member with a conical inside diameter on a shaft with a conical outside diameter comprises installing the hollow member and the shaft in such a position A as bringing in a close contact with each other on the conical surfaces, pushing the hollow member into a start position B so as to provide an initial press fit, and pushing the hollow member from the start position to the final position C by a preset distance Ss so as to provide the final press fit.
