Abstract:
PURPOSE:To increase propulsion by feed-sending to the rear portion of a propulsion generating means, a propeller or the like, a fluid which has specific gravity less than the fluid made to move by the operation of this propulsion generating means. CONSTITUTION:Since the fluid moved forcibly backward by means of a propulsion generating means, say, a propeller 2 collides with a fluid which has specific gravity less than this fluid, a greater reaction force occurs than the one that occurs when fluids of the same kind collide with each other, and propulsion is increased as much as reaction force becomes great. Also, since the fluid fed-sent to the rear portion of the propeller has specific gravity less than the fluid moved backward from the front by the propeller, it rises immediately to the surface after having been fed-sent, and as a result, the fluid in the front of the propeller finds itself easier to be moved backward. On account of this, the moving quantity of the fluid increases in case of energy being the same as previously, and this, together with the increase of reaction force, is of use in increasing propulsion.
