PURPOSE: To induce the same tensile force at both of an anchorage end and a tensioning end by a method wherein excess tension with a value considering friction loss added to a necessary tensile force is applied to a cable from its tensioning end while the necessary tensile force is given to the anchorage end, and the excess tension given to the tensioning end is removed afterward for returning the tensile force to the state in the necessary value.
CONSTITUTION: The value of excess tension T5 with friction loss considered is added to the value (necessary tensile force) made up by adding a design tensile force T0 the tensile force T1 with strain by creeping considered, a tensile force T2 with decrease caused by load of roof finishing considered, an inducing tensile force T3 with coefficient of variation of tensile force considered, and cable tensioning T4 made by interaction analysis, and the tension at the value in the sum total of the above is applied from a tensioning end. The excess tension T5 applied from the tensioning end undergoes friction losses at nodes of each of bundles and reaches an anchorage end, and thereby a necessary tensile force at a specified value is given to the anchorage end. As the excess tension T5 applied to the tensioning end is returned to the necessary tensile force at a specifed value, the tensile force at the tensioning end becomes identical to the tensile force at the anchorage end with the decrease of tensile force kept from reaching the anchorage end.
