Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for inspecting a rotor of a screw compressor whereby little time is required to inspect a rotor, high measurement accuracy is exerted, a common measuring apparatus is shared for inspections and a uniform evaluation is achieved.
SOLUTION: A male and a female rotors 1, 2 of a screw compressor rotating while maintaining a minute gap by timing gears are inspected. One rotor is rotated forward and rearward while the other rotor is braked in a state in which at least one timing gear is absent. The minute gap between the rotors 1 and 2 is measured with the use of a rotational phase difference of the male and female rotors 1, 2 measured during the rotation. At this time, data of the minute gap between the male master rotor 1 and female master rotor 2 both without a coating film, data of the minute gap between the male master rotor 1 and the female rotor 2 without a coating film, data of the minute gap between the female master rotor 2 and the male rotor 1 without a coating film, and data of the minute gap between the male and female rotors 1 and 2 are measured. Each data is displayed on the same measurement data, thereby obtaining a process state of the male rotor 1 and female rotor 2.
