To provide an inspection method for a speech channel of a base station in a mobile communication system that maintains a speech service state with excellent quality and a VOCODER for a control station by inspecting the VOCODER of the control station through functions of general and test calls and the speech channels with all frequencies served by the base station.
The VOCODERs and speech channels are inspected so that the defective VOCODER and the defective channel can be recognized by allowing an operating station to designate many specific VOCODERs and many specific speech channels and to set up a call to them. When any of them is confirmed, a series of works is made so that no call service is made by the defective VOCODER and the defective speech channel when the defect is confirmed thereby continuously maintaining the speech service with excellent quality.
