Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for installing a downhole compressor that shortens installation/replacement time of a downhole compressor and can improve work efficiency of a plant.SOLUTION: The method for installing a downhole compressor includes: inserting a compressor body 15 into a cylindrical casing 1 embedded in the ground; moving the compressor body 15 in an underground direction inside the casing 1 using a wheel 120 provided in the compressor body 15 to cause the compressor body 15 to travel by itself; and installing the compressor body 15 that has been moved in the underground direction in a predetermined position in the ground.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
