To provide a method for installing a pipe material in a wall hole, which secures a caulking material filling space by positioning the pipe material, arranged through the wall hole, almost in the center of the wall hole and which prevents an applied caulking material from dripping, even when wall thickness is small, and a pipe holder.

The pipe holder 1 includes a pipe holding part, a flange part 2, a sticking part 5 which is provided in the flange part 2, and an a release sheet 6 which is releasably stuck on the sticking part 5. The release sheet 6 is made of the adhesive caulking material C to be infilled, and a material with no adhesiveness. The pipe material is installed in the wall hole by selecting either a step of installing the pipe material in the wall hole by sticking the sticking part 5, which is exposed by peeling off the release sheet 6, on the peripheral edge of the wall hole or a step of installing the pipe material in the pipe wall by fixing the release sheet 6 in a location facing the wall hole, without peeling off the release sheet, so as to bond two surfaces, that is to say, an inner surface of the wall hole and an outer surface of the pipe material, even when the caulking material C to be infilled is brought into contact with the flange part 2.
