PURPOSE: To reduce the time for copying by outputting the signal announcing that the succeeding original of the same kind can be inserted into the copying machine of a photosensitive paper cassette is ready to deliver the succeeding photosensitive paper when the machine is put into an automatic printing state.

CONSTITUTION: When a sensor 32 for detecting the insertion of an original turns on upon insertion of an original 38, the control state for automatic printing is started and a display device 42 for instructing the insertion of original is put out. Photosensitive paper is delivered in response with said putting out and a sensor 52 for detecting the fed paper starts operating. When the rear ends of the original and photosensitive paper pass respectively through detecting sensors 32, 52, both sensors 32, 52 turn off and the device 42 flickers to announce that the succeeding original can be inserted to the machine if said original is the same as the original just before the same. When the rear end of the original passes through a sensor 50 for completion of printing , the flickering state of the device 42 is changed to the normal lighting state to announce that the different original can be inserted to the machine. The time for copying is reduced in the above- mentioned way.
