To provide a method and an instrument for easily analyzing spring-back after releasing the restriction with a metallic mold to a hemming structure joining an outer panel and an inner panel by turning up with a hem-working using the metallic mold till allowing a flange part of the outer panel having a main body part and the flange part extended from the end part position of the main body part to contact with the surface of the edge part of the inner panel.
In shaping data of the outer panel and the inner panel at the completing time of the hem-working, a prescribed position of the outer panel and a prescribed position of the inner panel are joined (S102). In such a way, the spring-back is analyzed by approximating the friction developed with the surface contact between the inner panel and the outer panel, and the adhesion with a filled sealing agent.
