Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable adhesion intensifier grains to reach accurately a desired position even against a side wind by injecting the adhesion intensifier grains having a predetermined property between a rolling stock and rail surfaces together with air having a predetermined injection speed. CONSTITUTION:For adhesion intensifier grains are used grains of sand and quartz including at least 50% of grains having 100-300mu of diameter. And air with at least 30m/sec of injection speed and at most acoustic velocity is supplied from a compressed air supply pipe 10 according to an injection command and mixed with the adhesion intensifier grains supplied from a grain supply pipe 11 in a mixer chamber 12 to be injected from an injection pipe 13 between a wheel 1 and a rail. Then, a distance l2 between an injection port 14 and a desired position is properly set. Thus, the adhesion intensifier grains can be prevented from being deviated by a side wind.
