To provide a method for interlacing and connecting undrawn yarn capable of improving a success rate of a conventional method for connecting undrawn yarn, decreasing winding on a godet roller, stabilizing a size of an agglutinated part, and securely eliminating the agglutinated part.
The method for interlacing and connecting undrawn yarn for connecting the undrawn yarn provided by melt spinning thermoplastic polyester to an undrawn yarn bundle which is already running, is characterized by entwining the undrawn yarn of not more than 1.5 kex and the undrawn yarn bundle of not more than 24 kTex with an air jet width 8-15 mm and with an air interlacing pressure 3-6 kg/cm2, and then cutting the undrawn yarn on an entwining side with a distance 80-300 mm from an air interlacing part to connect the undrawn yarn.
