Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a power source interlinking method for interlinking the on/off of the power sources of a portable personal computer(PC) with a built-in battery main body and peripheral equipment, and an AC adaptor, and the PC with the built-in battery in a method for interlinking the power sources of the portable PC with the built-in battery and the peripheral equipment.
SOLUTION: This portable personal computer(PC) with a built-in battery is provided with a system operation judging circuit F for monitoring the situation of a power to be supplied from a power source controller D in the portable PC with the built-in battery to a system board, a service plug socket C provided at an AC adaptor, and a switch circuit B for controlling the on/off of power supply to the service plug socket C according to information from the system operation judging circuit F. Thus, it is possible to realize the interlink of the power source of the portable PC and the power source of the peripheral equipment.
