Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the generation of faultily treated items by preventing the occurrence of excessive and insufficient radiation doses of electron beams at the start of the treatment.
SOLUTION: Firtstly with an electron current I for irradiating an object 2 from an electron beam generator 20 as the subject, and the treatment of the object 2 starts with the beam master control which allows the conveyance speed (v) of the object 2 by a conveyor 10 to follow the electron current I. After a certain time has passed since the treatment began, with the conveyance speed (v) by the conveyor 10 as the subject, the beam master control is switched over to the line master control which allows the electron current I from the electron beam generator 20 to follow the conveyance speed (v). Thereafter, the object 2 is treated by this line master control.
