Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a packet-based network architecture for supporting distributed and dynamic mobility management(DMM).SOLUTION: A processor of a wireless transmission/reception unit (WTRU 102) is connected to a speaker/microphone, a keypad and a display/touch pad, and receives input data of a user therefrom. The processor outputs user data to the speaker/microphone, the keypad and the display/touch pad. Also, the processor performs access to the information of an arbitrary type of proper memory, and stores the data therein. An RAM, an ROM, a hard disk or another arbitrary type of memory storage device are included in a non-removable memory. The processor performs access to the information of a memory physically not located on the WTRU 102 such as a server or home computer, and stores the data therein.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1B
