Abstract:
PURPOSE: To mutually join ceramics in high strength with high efficiency without carrying out pretreatment.
CONSTITUTION: Nickel-chrome plates 3 and a stress material (nickel plate) 4 are placed between mutual ceramics 1, which are heated, pressurized in a prescribed vacuum state and joined to each other. Only the chrome in the nickel- chrome plate penetrates into the ceramic surfaces to form a chromium-metallized layer. The nickel is simultaneously diffused to the side of the ceramics to prevent nickel-silicon compounds from forming. Thereby, the joining strength and heat resistance in the joined parts are improved.
