To provide an overlapping and electric resistance brazing method of dissimilar metal plates, especially of a steel plate with an aluminium alloy plate, the method providing a connection having high joint strength without impairing reliability of joining by production of a brittle intermetallic compound layer.
In the method for joining the dissimilar metal plates by overlapping and electric resistance brazing, a foil-like flux-cored brazing filler metal formed by dispersively mixing a fluoride-based flux into an aluminum alloy brazing filler metal containing Si is arranged between the steel plate 1 and the aluminium alloy plate 2, and current conduction is performed by an electrode for spot welding in order to weld the flux-cored brazing filler metal. Thereby, joining is performed.
