Abstract:
To provide a method for joining a metallic workpiece on one side with a plastic workpiece on the other side reliably.
This method for connecting the metallic bolt with the plastic workpiece is performed by providing the first plastic workpiece and the metallic bolt and press-fitting the bolt into a surface of the first plastic workpiece. Since the bolt rotates when being press-fitted and rotational speed of the bolt is selected to plasticize the first plastic workpiece, the bolt is fixed to the first plastic workpiece by positive lock after its rotation stops.
