Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for jointing a core tube of a composite bushing to a flange metal by press-fitting wherein there is no need to keep the core tube of the composite bushing and the flange metal fixed to each other until a resin has cured to exhibit adhesion, much labor is not required because assembling accuracy is ensured, and required mechanical strength and airtight property can be ensured.
SOLUTION: An outer diameter of a core cylinder 1 of a composite bushing is established to be larger than an inner diameter 23 of an inside hole of a flange metal 2 at ordinary temperatures prior to jointing it by press-fitting. Nextly, a resin is applied to, at least, either one of an outer circumferential surface of the core cylinder 1 of the composite bushing and an inner circumferential surface of the inside hole of the flange metal 2 and, after the two are aligned with each other, the core tube 1 of the composite bushing is press-fitted into the insertion hole of the flange metal 2, and the flange metal 2 is adhesively jointed to an end part of the core cylinder 1 of the composite bushing by curing the applied resin.
