Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for knitting a knitted fabric which can strengthen a branch part in which a starting end and a terminal end of a branch knitted fabric extending from a base knitted fabric are positioned.SOLUTION: The method comprises: forming increased stitches 6,7,8 on one needle bed such that a knitting yarn is connected to base point stitches 10,11,12 of a base knitted fabric 3 engaged with other needle bed; knitting a branch knitted fabric 5 having base point stitches 10,11,12 as starting ends; forming overlapped stitches by overlapping terminal end stitches 10',11',12' of the branch knitted fabric 5 with the increased stitches 6,7,8; and restarting knitting of the base knitted fabric including the overlapped stitches.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
