PURPOSE: To effectively lay a cable on the inner surface of the upper part of a buried pipe by so inserting a tubular thermosetting liner material into a preliner as to be brought into close contact with the inner surface of the tube, then curing the liner material, and then introducing the cable into a protective pipe.
CONSTITUTION: A tubular thermosetting liner material 7 is so inserted into a preliner 4 as to be brought into close contact with the inner surface of a buried pipe 1 through the preliner 4. The material 7 is inserted into one end of the preliner 4, water is fed into the material 7 to invert the material 7, and this operation is executed from one to the other ends of the pipe 1. Then, the water in the material 7 is heated to cure the material 7. Then, a cable is introduced into a cable introduction hole 6 of the protective pipe 5. A piano wire is fed from one end of the protective pipe 5 into the pipe 5, a cable 2 is connected to the rear end of the piano wire, and the piano wire is pulled from the rear end of the pipe 5 by a towing machine.
