Abstract:

To provide a method capable of treating lead in which all are performed using a wet process.

The method for leaching lead slag is a method for removing at least copper and zinc in a lead slag which is a smelting intermediate product of non-iron smelting. The method comprises blowing oxygen-containing gas into a liquid of slurried lead slag to oxidize a copper metal to form CuO, oxidizing Cu2O by the oxidative effect of ferric sulfate, and adding sulfuric acid to leach at least zinc and copper in the lead slag.
