Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To dry and solidify a spraing material in a comparatively short time while suppressing or preventing the damage of a lining such as surface crack, detachment and spalling even in the case of using the spraying material having high bulk density and low porous ratio for improving strength and reducing wearing rate as the lining of an iron tapping runner.
SOLUTION: The working lining 303 consisting of the spraying material is kept at 200-300°C higher than the b.p. of the water contained in the lining 303 for 0-12hr. Thereafter, the working lining 303 is kept at 400-500°C higher than the b.p. of nonvolatile matter contained in the lining 303 for 6-12hr. Thus, the kind of gas generated during keeping time at each temp. is limited and the generated quantity or the vaporized quantity is suppressed and the gas components are surely and fully removed from the surface of the working lining 303.
