To present a printing plate which dispenses with development and has a printing surface formed speedily by applying an imaging exposure to an original film, which is excellent in inking properties on the occasion of printing and causes scumming little and which is excellent in plate wear and further enables repeated use of the original film for printing and a method of making the same, and to present printing equipment capable of making the printing plate on a press.
In regard to a method of lithographic printing, the original film for printing having a photo-catalytic thin film therefor and the printing equipment, a layer of a hydrophobic substance is provided uniformly on the original film having photo-catalytic power and then an imaging distribution of hydrophilic and hydrophobic areas is formed by heating the original film to a temperature of 40-200°C and by casting activating light thereon.
