PURPOSE: To efficiently maintain a trough on the hearth of blast furnace in a labor saving without needing the skillness and the technique by making the repairing and the maintenance of a refractory in the inner surface of the troughs for molten iron and molten slag in the hearth of blast furnace the off-line work and semi-automating.
CONSTITUTION: A dismantling pattern of the refractory damaged in the troughs for flowing down the molten iron and the molten slag from the blast furnace on the hearth of blast furnace, is detected with an observing device 50, and the remaining iron and the remaining refractory at the bottom part of the damaged trough 1 are crushed with a rotary drum 11 in a trough dismantling device 52 and carried out in a recovering bucket with a removing device 13. After cutting and maintaining the inner surface of the trough 1, a molding flask as a core for working the refractory is fixed by arranging the fixed space between the molding flask and the surface of the trough 1 with a fitting/detaching 22 fitted to supporting rails 21 and castable refractory in a kneader 30 is poured and filled into a space between the upper surface of the trough and the molding flask through a hopper 31 and a chute 32. Successively, after removing the molding flask, the filled refractory is dried and solidified with a burner, and by forming the new refractory layer on the inner surface of the trough 1, the repairing of the damaged trough is executed.
