Title:
METHOD OF MAKING FIXED ENZYME, MICROORGANISM OR ORGANELLE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JPS5539719
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

PURPOSE: A carrier resulting from immersing a PVC resin solution into a solvent that is poor compatible with PVC and high with the solvent of the solution is brought into contact with a solution or dispersion containing enzyme, thus fixing a large amount of enzyme of high activity.

CONSTITUTION: A PVC resin is dissolved in a solvent A consisting of at least one as DMF to form a solution of 2W25wt% resin concentration. The solution is casted on a base or sprayed into the air to form a desired carrier of membrane or particles. When the solution visually whitens after the formation into the film or particles, it is immersed into another solvent B that is less compatible to PVC and high compatible to solvent A as water or methanol to give the soldified carrier. The resulting carrier is brought into contact with a solution containing an enzyme in 1W200mg/dl concentration to make said fixed enzyme. Resultingly, fixed enzymes of high activity is obtained in a short time.
