Title:
METHOD FOR MAKING IRON DUST INTO RESOURCE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2007009302
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:
To provide a method for making iron dusts comprising halides and/or volatile heavy metals into resources, in which the flexible reduction/carbonization treatment is established, also, the conventional countermeasure in an exhaust system is made needless, and further, fuel cost is reduced.
The method where substances in iron dusts are made into resources using a fluidized bed type reaction furnace comprises: a stage (a) where iron dusts are charged from a furnace tip; a stage (b) where a gas originated from waste essentially consisting of H2 and CH4 is blown into the furnace, so as to form a fluidized bed; and a stage (c) where iron oxide in the iron dusts is selectively reduced and/or carbonized.
