Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for making a lithographic printing plate having a photosensitive layer made of a positive type photosensitive composition for an infrared laser for a direct plate-making.
SOLUTION: In the method for making a lithographic printing plate having a photosensitive layer obtained by coating a hydrophilic support with a positive type photosensitive composition for an infrared laser comprising the steps of exposing it with the laser, and developing it with an alkali developing liquid containing at least one type of non-cyclic sugar and a base; the composition preferably contains at least one type of an alkali aqueous solution soluble polymer compound having at least one of a phenolic hydroxyl group, a sulfoneamide group, and an active imide group, a solubility of the polymer compound in the alkali aqueous solution is lowered by making it compatible with alkali aqueous solution soluble polymer compound, and a compound for reducing a solubility lowering action by heating and a compound for heating by absorbing alight are contained.
