Abstract:
To provide a method of manufacturing a stent capable of being easily and stably manufactured without decomposition and modification of medicines during its manufacturing process, and a stent manufactured thereby.
The method of manufacturing a stent made from a bioabsorbable material containing medicines comprises the step of heating the spinning dope of the medicine-containing bioabsorbable material, the step of forming fibers by subjecting the heated spinning dope to dry or wet spinning, and the step of making the fibers tubular. The stent manufactured by the method is also disclosed.
