Abstract:
To provide a method for making the surface of a fluoroelastomer having adequate toughness and chemical, physical, and thermal stability on a support at low costs and in a short time.
A method for making the surface of a fluoroelastomer on a support includes a step in which the fluoroelastomer is dissolved, a step in which a defluorination-hydrogenation agent is added, a step in which 0.5-10% of aminosilane is added on the basis of the weight of the fluoroelastomer and reacted to prepare a homogeneous fluoroelastomer solution, and a step in which at least one layer of the solution is applied to the support. The dehydroflourination agent is selected from a group consisting of calcium hydroxide and magnesium oxide.
