Abstract:
PURPOSE: To execute mandrel extruding with use of an ordinary extruder by a single acting press.
CONSTITUTION: A special dummy 1 having a T-shaped side view wherein a mandrel bar 5 is provided to a dummy block 4 in a cantilever state is used and the special dummy 1 and a billet 2 are arranged in a container 8 in a state that the mandrel bar 5 is penetrated through the billet 2 and a stem 10 is driven forward to extrude the billet 2 under the state.
