Abstract:

To manufacture a ceramic product wherein an outer peripheral edge is free from an acute angle, and an external shape is accurate.

The method for manufacturing a ceramic product contains a process of forming ceramic material layers 23, 24 by depositing a granulate ceramic material in layers in a broader area than an external form of the ceramic product to be manufactured, a process of pushing an embossing frame 30 corresponding to an external shape of the ceramic product to the halfway part of a thickness from an upper surface of the ceramic material layers 23, 24; a process of forming a parting groove 26 of a shape corresponding to the embossing frame 30 in the ceramic material layers 23, 24 by retracting the embossing frame 30 from the ceramic material layers 23, 24; a process of baking the ceramic material layers 23, 24; and a process of obtaining the ceramic product by removing and separating a more outer part than the parting groove from the baked ceramic material layer.
