Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a high density coil brush to eliminate a condition of the brush density between windings in manufacturing a coil brush by winding a channel type brush into a spiral and spot welding between stands of channels between windings.
SOLUTION: A channel type brush 7 is prepared by rearward tilting right and left side boards 1b, 1c of a U-shape channel. End parts on channel opening sides of neighboring right and left side boards 1c, 1b in between windings to the proceeding side of spiral windings of the channel type brush 7 are made abut on each other and a gap 16 opened toward the base part of the stand side based on the tilting angle in between right and left side boards 8a, 8b is formed. Then, the side board 2c of the channel 1 to the most outside in the proceeding side of the spiral windings is pressed in the axis line direction so as to elastically dispose the neighboring right and left side boards 1c, 1b to eliminate the gap 16 and to make the neighboring right and left side boards 1c, 1b and the neighboring right and left stands 8a, 8b tightly contact each other. After that, the tightly contact right and left stands are spot-welded.
