To provide a method for manufacturing an annular molding capable of reducing facility expenses and manufacturing costs, while sufficiently heightening mechanical strength by securing uniformity of a structure in the annular molding.
The method for manufacturing an annular molding includes a forging process S2 for manufacturing a disk-shaped forged body by forging an alloy material, and a ring rolling process S4 for manufacturing the annular molding by performing ring rolling of an annular intermediate acquired by forming a through hole into the forged body. In the forging process S2, hot forging by which an absolute value θ1 of strain in the circumferential direction of the forged body becomes ≥0.3, an absolute value h of strain in the height direction of the forged body becomes ≥0.3, and the ratio h/θ1 between each absolute value of the strain falls in the range of 0.4-2.5, is performed at least twice or more.
