To provide a method of manufacturing an anode panel, constituting a plane display which surely attains smoothness of an anode electrode.
The method of manufacturing the anode panel AP with phosphor regions 22 and the anode electrode 24 mounted on a substrate 20 includes steps of: (A) disposing phosphor particles 28 on parts to form the phosphor regions on the substrate 20; (B) applying colored resin onto the phosphor particles 28, in each phosphor region 22 and drying the resin to obtain a resin layer 29 covering the phosphor particles 28; (C) inspecting the state of the resin layer 29, formed in each phosphor region 22, and when the resin layer 29 is defectively formed, mending the resin layer 29 to cover the phosphor particles 28 by applying and drying again the colored resin; (D) forming the anode electrode 24 over the entire surface; and (E) removing the resin layer 29 by sintering.
