To easily manufacture an article having a display section on an edge which is a planar shape or a cubic shape with a smooth contour.

A method of manufacturing an article 1 having a display pattern 7 on the small edge of a planar shape or a cubic shape, such as a memo pad, paper sheets, clothing fabric sample book, etc., includes the steps of: printing the same display pattern 7 on the surface of a plurality of sheets 2a; forming a sheet bundle 2 by gluing with an adhesive the upper end edges 5 of the bundle of the plurality of sheets 2a on which the display pattern 7 is printed; placing the glued sheet bundle 2 on a surface plate 10a, fixedly holding the upper end edges 5 with a clipper 8b, and winding the sheet bundle 2 at a prescribed angle on a mandrel 8 installed integrally with the clipper 8b; and cutting the lower end edges 6a of the sheet bundle 2 at right angles to the sheet face, in a state that the sheet bundle 2 is wound around the mandrel 8 and held at the prescribed angle.
