Abstract:
To provide a binder resin composition for an electrophotographic toner that has excellent low-temperature fixability and charge stability, and a crystalline polyester resin.SOLUTION: The present invention provides: (1) a binder resin composition for an electrophotographic toner containing a crystalline polyester resin C and an amorphous resin A, where the crystalline polyester resin C is a polycondensate of an alcohol component containing aliphatic diol having 2 to 14 carbon atoms in an amount of 60 mol% or more and 95 mol% or less and aromatic alcohol in an amount of 5 mol% or more and 40 mol% or less and a carboxylic acid component containing an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid compound having 6 to 14 carbon atoms; (2) an electrophotographic toner containing the binder resin composition of (1); and (3) the crystalline polyester resin that is a polycondensate of an alcohol component containing aliphatic diol having 2 to 14 carbon atoms in an amount of 60 mol% or more and 95 mol% or less and aromatic alcohol in an amount of 5 mol% or more and 40 mol% or less and a carboxylic acid component containing an aliphatic dicarboxylic acid compound having 6 to 14 carbon atoms.SELECTED DRAWING: None
