To reduce energy and a time required for manufacturing a blade rubber by improving efficiency in steps of forming a coating layer on the blade rubber.
A blade rubber molding is formed of a rubber material in a molding step, a reaction liquid is applied onto the surface of a lip part of the blade rubber molding in a surface treatment step, and the irradiation of electron beams is applied thereonto to form a grafted layer. A coating agent is applied onto the surface of the lip part where the grafted layer is formed, and the irradiation of the electron beams is applied in a predetermined range on the front end side of the lip part where the coating agent is applied, for hardening and drying the coating agent to form the coating layer. The blade rubber molding where the grafted layer and the coating layer are formed on the lip part, is cut at the lip part to obtain the pair of blade rubbers.
