In this method for manufacturing the body structure for the rolling stock, a peripheral member 11 having a peripheral fixture 16 integrally provided on an opposite outer plate side of a peripheral frame member 15 and a longitudinal member 12 having a longitudinal fixture 22 integrally provided on an opposite outer plate side of a longitudinal frame member 21 are formed respectively, and a plurality of the peripheral fixtures 16 are arranged on an assembly table 10 in predetermined intervals along the rolling stock longitudinal direction. A plurality of the longitudinal fixtures 22 are arranged on the assembly table 10 or the peripheral fixture 16 in predetermined intervals along the rolling stock width direction, and the frame members 15 and 21 are separated from the fixtures 16 and 22 after attaching an outer plate 14 of a frame 13 which is formed by welding the peripheral frame member 15 and the longitudinal frame member 16 crossed to each other by arrangement of the fixtures 16 and 22.
