Abstract:

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for stably manufacturing various branched organopolysiloxanes only by alkaline equilibrium.
SOLUTION: This method for manufacturing a branched organopolysiloxane comprises polymerizing a mixture of (I) 1-100 pts.wt. organopolysiloxane represented by average composition formula (1), (II) 1-100 pts.wt. dialkylcyclosiloxane, and (III) 1-100 pts.wt. organopolysiloxane represented by formula (2) in the presence of an alkali catalyst.
