Abstract:
To find a synthetic route for carbapenem antimicrobial agents being low in cost and high in safety, also suitable for mass synthesis.
The carbapenem-based antimicrobial agent is produced by using an amine compound represented by formula (1) or its salt as an intermediate. The amine compound is obtained by the chemical equation shown in Figure (where in R1 is 1-3C alkyl; n is 0, 1 or 2; A is 1-3C alkylene; L is a leaving group; R3 is H, a protective group of 1-3C alkyl or amino; and the hydroxyl and carboxyl groups may independently be protected).
