Abstract:
To provide a method for economically and rapidly manufacturing a catalyst support which is used especially for a burner or the like for fragrance diffusers.
The method for manufacturing the catalyst support comprises, in the following order, the steps of: (a) shaping a non-sintered porous ceramic base support; (b) depositing, on at least part of the surface of the non-sintered porous ceramic base support, a suspension of ceramic powder in a solvent or a mixture of solvents so as to form an interface layer able to increase the surface area of the base support; (c) sintering the base support including at least a portion coated with the suspension.
