To provide a method for manufacturing a cellulose acylate film which is free from a foaming phenomenon on a casting belt or drum and shows good haze and high durability to tear with the minimum level of the foreign substance content and stain, a cellulose acylate film obtained by this method and a polarizing plate.

The method for manufacturing a film of cellulose acylate comprises the process to cast a cellulose acylate dope composition containing a polymerizable monomer and/or a polymerizable monomer with a functional group and a photopolymerization initiator. The film surface temperature on the casting belt or the casting drum during light irradiation is 25 to 40°C.
