Abstract:

To provide a method capable of efficiently manufacturing a cellulose nano-fiber dispersion liquid of a high concentration, excellent in flowability and transparency at a low energy.

In the manufacturing method, a cellulose-based material is oxidized in the presence of (1) an N-oxyl compound and (2) a bromide, an iodide or the mixture thereof in water using an oxidizing agent, cellulase is added thereto to perform hydrolysis treatment, and subsequently, it is subjected to defibering-dispersion treatment.
