Abstract:
To provide a technology capable of securing a necessary and desired temperature for firing clinker, which is an intermediate product of a cement production, in case that the ratio using combustibles as a supplementary fuel is increased.
In the method of manufacturing cement clinker by firing a raw material using a rotary kiln 7 included in a cement manufacturing plant A, a burner 13 firing the raw material is installed at the downstream side along the flow of the raw material of the rotary kiln 7. Combustibles with a heat value of 2,000-5,000 kcal/kg and a particle diameter of ≤5 mm are fed at the outlet of the kiln 7a where the burner 13 is installed.
